Integration und Karriereplanung - Für internationale Postdoktorandinnen und fortgeschrittene Doktorandinnen

Ziele // Goals:

- To reduce the high attrition rate for women in academic professions

- To provide female academics from abroad with support, particularly in terms of individual career planning as well as network building

 

Zielgruppe // Demographic:

International female scholars affiliated at the UoC or associated institutions who are pursuing and advancing careers in academia

 

Inhalte // Contents:

For Mentees:

- One-to-One Mentoring (with an experienced mentor from German or international universities or research institutions)

- Framework Programme including (1) seminars and workshop on a variety of topics (e.g. Cross-Cultural Competence, Gender wrkshops, Career Planning, Introduction to German Scientific System), (2) networking events and (3) individual coaching accompanied by professional coaches

- Guidelines for mentoring

For Mentors:

- Advances trainings

- Networking events

- Guidelines for mentoring

 

Anmeldung // Application

Call for application is announced at he end of the previious calender year (commonly in October or November) before the start of the programme in January. Participation is free of charge. There is a one-time registration fee of 25 Euros once the candidate is accepted for the programme. Participants receive a certificate of participation on completion of the programme.
